Home Education

The Education & Art Studio brings together both sides of my work: structured academic support and creative expression. The learning space itself is known as The Home Ed Hub, a welcoming home-studio environment where children can grow in confidence and ability.

What I Offer

At The Home Ed Hub, I provide:

• 1:1 sessions in English, Maths and Science
• Online 1:1 sessions
• Support for children aged 5–16
• Functional Skills Maths for young people and adults
• Watercolour classes for ages 8+

My Approach

My sessions are calm, structured, and purposeful, without feeling pressured or overwhelming. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, understood, and capable.

I work closely with families to tailor learning to their child’s needs, pace, and interests. I have experience supporting children with a range of additional needs, including SEND and neurodivergence, and I prioritise building trust and confidence before anything else.

The Space

In-person sessions take place in my Swanage home studio. A welcoming, well-resourced environment filled with books, art materials, and carefully chosen learning tools. It is structured enough to support focus and progress, yet relaxed enough to feel comfortable and personal.

Why Families Choose Education & Art Studio for their children

Parents often tell me they are looking for:

• Gentle structure within their home education journey
• A qualified teacher who understands both schools and alternatives
• A calm, supportive environment
• Creative, thoughtful approaches that go beyond worksheets
• Academic support without unnecessary pressure

That is exactly what I aim to provide.

**Education & Art Studio is an independent tutoring and learning provider. I am legally able to deliver educational sessions; however, I am not a school and do not provide full-time education. My sessions form one part of a child’s overall learning journey, and parents remain fully responsible for their child’s education in line with UK home education legislation.
